21st Century Kids, known as the iGeneration, can create a world that is iNDIVIDUAL, iNSTANT & iNTERACTIVE.

The tweens and teens today are often referred to as the iGeneration (Gen Z). We see the small i precede many of the technological applications and advances . . . iTunes, iPad, iPod, iPhone. The iGeneration kids are able to individualized their tech-toys to create customized entertainment.

The iGeneration closely nips at the heels of the Millennials (Gen Y), a generation born after 1982. Millennials were born into a life of advancing technology. The iGeneration was born into a life on-line. It was the Millennials who pioneered the paradigm shift for understanding a new generation of kids. The fiercely rapid rate of growth in the tech-world has adults wondering how their iGeneration kids can ride the tsunami of change!

Based on his studies, Dr. Larry D. Rosen, California State University, Dominguez Hlls, has accurately observed some of the traits for this generation of youth, which are:
  • Adeptness at multi-tasking
  • Desire for immediacy
  • Ability to use technology to create a vast array of "content"
 
I believe the work of Envision Your Future is grounded in a clear understanding of and an abiding commitment to the fullest potential of today's young people, who are so often misinterpreted and unfairly labeled.
